The Croydon Citizen’s Bands is a long-time supporter of the Maroondah Council, providing musicians for their annual Marrondah Carols in Croydon Town Park.

This year was yet another fantastic show, enjoyed by a large crowd of families both young and old. The singers delivered a wonderful performance featuring many Christmas favourites and sing-along carols. Although the weather threatened to intervene at times, the festive spirit prevailed, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display.

Sing along with the Croydon Wind Symphony as they bring you an evening of songs to dance the night away. Dress in your finest ballgowns and suits, or like you favourite ballad singers!

If you like audience participation at concerts, this was an evening to savour!  Croydon Wind Symphony provided the backing band for an epic night of music and band-oke!

We chose a selection of our favourite ballads, ranging from the iconic duets of Phantom of the Opera, the smooth crooning of Frank Sinatra, the pop anthems of Queen, right through to the power ballads of Aerosmith. We then handed the microphone over to the audience, inviting them to add their own magic. The results were incredible—the singers became the true stars of the show, and the music was heard all the way to the far end of the car park.
