Our Vision
The aims of The Croydon Citizens’ Bands are to:
- provide an enjoyable musical, organisational and social environment in which members of the community may participate
- develop ensembles to accommodate musicians of all standards
- provide our members with the opportunity to reach their highest potential in all aspects of music
- engage in regular public performance
- develop a positive relationship with government, business, the media, community groups and other musical organisations to enhance the status of music in the community
We fulfill these aims through our three ensembles – the Croydon Brass Band, Croydon Concert Band, and Croydon Wind Symphony – which each perform on a regular basis for the local community
Our Policies
Child Safe Policy
Victoria’s child protection laws mandate that all members aged 18 years and over must have a valid Working with Children Check.

Instrument Hire
A limited number of musical instruments are available to our members for hire. In 2026, our instrument hire fee is $80 for the year.
Membership Fees
Membership to The Croydon Citizens’ Bands Inc. is charged on an annual basis. In 2026, our subscription fees are as follows:
- Adult: $160
- Concession (pensioner, student, health care card): $120
- Family (residing together): $200
- Life Member: Free
